On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, we proudly hosted a Half K fundraising run/walk at our office and invited friends, clients, partners, and employees to join in support of the American Cancer Society.
The MN American Cancer Society CEO, Anthony Bass, said, “The partnership between SafeNet Consulting and the American Cancer Society is off to a fast start. Cancer impacts everyone in different ways. Yet, it was amazing to see two organizations working in harmony to help support a cause bigger than their individual goals. The Foxtrot Half K made an impact and will continue to make an impact by helping our community achieve the goal of living in a world free of cancer.”
Attendees enjoyed food, music, a meaningful program, and a short but hot walk/run around the SafeNet Consulting offices in Minnetonka.
As part of the program, cancer survivor Ann Mallory shared her story from being diagnosed through thriving. Ann shared her experience at the Half K fundraiser by stating, “I was so honored to be a part of the ACS event hosted by SafeNet Consulting. So many wonderful people gathered in support of this great cause. The SafeNet team and volunteers created a fun and innovative experience by adding a food truck, entertainment, a photo booth, and a fantastic list of silent auction items. It was an incredible night!”
Between ticket sales, sponsorships, donations, and a silent auction, the group raised over $7,000 for research, patient services, and cancer legislation advocacy!
SafeNet Consulting president Kelli Schnieder is a Minnesota Board of Directors member and active on the CIO’s Against Cancer board. “Our Foxtrot Half K event to support ACS was a success! So many people came together to help out with this event and drive attendance. I’m excited to see where we can take this event to support early research in the fight against cancer.”
